T-Shirt Winners and Designs announced
CA Extreme is pleased to announce that one of the legendary programmers
from the original "Vid Kidz" production team, Eugene Jarvis,
will be joining us for this year's show!
Eugene is well-known to classic video arcade gamers as part of the
"Vid Kidz" team who developed some of the most popular arcade games of
all time, including ever-popular favorites such as Defender, Robotron,
and the Cruis'n driving series. He has also had a hand in software and
sound development for such classic pinballs as High Speed, F-14 Tomcat,
and Firepower.
Eugene continues to be very active in the arcade field creating many
modern games including Target Terror and The Fast and the Furious as
part of his own studio, Raw Thrills, Inc.
Eugene will no doubt have much to tell, including inside information
regarding the development of Robotron and other games from his
outstanding resume in the classic (and modern) gaming field as well as
his future plans for his role in the gaming industry. We're also sure
he'll have some very interesting tales of what it was like to be a part
of the fledgling video game industry as it burst onto the scene over
twodecades ago.
2006 Flyer added here.
